ISO Certificates from TÜV SÜD
In 2020, GBG became the holder of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certificates. Both were issued by TÜV SÜD, one of the world’s most authoritative certification bodies.
ISO 9001:2015 confirms that the company’s quality management system complies with international standards. The certificate covers every process — from the sourcing of raw materials through production to the delivery of the product to the customer.
ISO 45001:2018 certifies the occupational health and safety management system. It confirms that the production environment at GBG meets European safety standards and that the company actively looks after the working conditions of its 145 employees.
Certification is renewed on the basis of regular audits carried out before the certificate expires, which means that quality at GBG is not a one-off achievement but a continuous, monitored process.
GBG’s two certificates — ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 — carry particular weight in the context of the Georgian construction market. They mean that every partner the company works with — from B2B developers to private builders — receives a product whose quality has been verified against an international standard.
GBG is a founding member of the Cement Association of Georgia and has been operating in the market since 2005 — these two facts, alongside the certifications, establish the company as one of the most trusted players in the industry.
