Cement
GBG – Your solid foundation
Cement is a finely ground mineral binder made from clinker and gypsum, forming the key component in the production of concrete, dry construction mixes and monolithic structures.
For more than 21 years, GBG Portland cement has remained a guarantee of consistent quality on the market. Cutting-edge technology allows us to maintain optimal clinker-to-additive ratios, ensuring stable product quality.
It is with concrete made from our cement that Georgia’s largest and most strategically important structures are built.
| Cement type | Packaging | Application |

Cement quality
High cement quality is what primarily determines the strength and durability of the future structure. GBG’s plant operates an accredited laboratory that exercises the strictest control over both the incoming raw materials and the finished cement products.
Every batch of product undergoes full physical-mechanical testing, backed by interlaboratory comparisons and certificates of conformity — a guarantee for the builder of full compliance with design standards and the highest quality benchmark.
Since 2005, GBG’s mission has remained unchanged — to produce the highest-quality cement and concrete on the Georgian market. Our goal is to make the process of purchasing top-quality Georgian cement and ordering large volumes of concrete as simple, flexible and accessible as possible.

What is the difference between CEM I and CEM II cement grades?
The main difference lies in the presence of mineral additives:
- CEM I (Ordinary Portland Cement): contains 95–100% clinker with no additives. It is distinguished by high early strength and is used for critical, high-load structures.
- CEM II (Portland cement with mineral additives): contains mineral additives alongside the clinker.
How do I determine the right cement grade for construction?
The choice of cement is based on the project requirements:
- For load-bearing and heavy structures, CEM I 42.5N or CEM II/A-P 42.5N is used, providing high compressive strength and long-term durability.
- For repair, installation and finishing works, CEM II/B-P 32.5N is used, providing high plasticity and optimal workability.
What is the price of cement per tonne or per bag?
The cost of cement depends on the grade (CEM I 42.5N, CEM II/A-P 42.5N, CEM II/B-P 32.5N), the type of packaging (bulk or bagged: 25, 40, 50 kg) and the order volume. To find out the rates, contact us through the communication channel that suits you best.
How much does GBG cement delivery cost?
The delivery rate is calculated individually, based on the tonnage and the delivery address. To confirm exact prices, contact us on the hotline.
