Concrete
GBG — Your solid foundation
Concrete is a universal man-made stone that forms the backbone of modern construction and architecture.
Concrete from GBG Georgian Building Group is a reliable support for both architectural and infrastructure projects. It ensures high load-bearing capacity, long service life and seismic resistance in monolithic construction of any complexity.
Our plants operate modern, fully automated concrete production lines. Among them is the Avchala concrete plant, the highest-capacity in Tbilisi — 200 m³/h. Production is carried out in full compliance with international EN/ISO standards, while large-scale production capacity and an accredited laboratory guarantee consistent quality of concrete of any class or technical specification.

Concrete delivery
GBG handles concrete logistics and delivery for both large industrial and individual projects in Tbilisi, Rustavi, Mtskheta and the surrounding regions. During transport, it is critical to preserve the homogeneity of the mix and prevent segregation.
Our fleet is equipped with high-performance truck mixers and concrete pumps with boom reach of various lengths, as well as stationary pumps. This makes it possible to carry out concrete pouring without interruption, including on difficult terrain, in densely built-up areas and in high-rise construction.
Concrete quality
The quality and strength of concrete are directly linked to the technological accuracy of the production process. GBG’s plant operates an accredited laboratory that tests both the incoming raw materials (cement, inert materials) and the ready-mix concrete, performing full physical-mechanical testing.
Every batch undergoes quality control, which guarantees the builder full compliance with design standards.
FAQ
Browse our frequently asked questions and answers, or contact us by phone or fill out the order form for more detailed information
Which class of concrete do I need for my project?
The concrete class is selected according to the load on the structure and the design requirements.
Take a look at the concrete class guide in the table on this page and easily choose the right concrete for your project.
How much do concrete mixer and concrete pump services cost?
The cost of concrete mixer and concrete pump services is calculated based on the site location, the boom reach and the volume of concrete. To determine the cost of a specific order, please contact us on the number provided or use the order form available on this page.
How long does it take for the concrete to reach the location?
Concrete is delivered in full accordance with the schedule agreed with the customer. GBG's well-organised logistics ensures uninterrupted and prompt transportation of the product in Tbilisi and the surrounding regions.
What is the minimum order volume for concrete?
At GBG, concrete is delivered in any volume. A standard concrete mixer has a capacity of 7 to 10 m³, while for smaller orders we use a compact concrete mixer, used for prompt delivery to narrow and hard-to-reach locations.
What type of cement do you use in your concrete?
GBG's concrete production uses GBG cement — Portland cement (CEM I 42.5N, CEM II/A-P 42.5N and CEM II/B-P 32.5N) made from our own quarried inert materials, fully compliant with international standards. This is precisely what enables us to supply our customers with uniform, consistent, high-quality concrete.
